The city of Pewaukee was incorporated in 1999, from the parts of the former Town of Pewaukee not included in the already-extant Village of Pewaukee. The town was established by an act of the Wisconsin Territorial Legislature on 13 January 1840, more than eight years before Wisconsin gained statehood.

Milwaukee Wisconsin - Population: 596,974
Milwaukee is the largest city within the state of Wisconsin and 22nd-largest in the United States. The city is the county seat of Milwaukee County and is located on the southwestern shore of Lake Michigan. As of the 2005 U.S. Census estimate, Milwaukee had a population of 578,887.[1] The city is the main cultural and economic center of the Milwaukee–Racine-Waukesha metropolitan area with a population of 1,753,355.[2]
The first Europeans to pass through the area were French missionaries and fur traders. In 1818, Frenchman Solomon Juneau settled in the area, and in 1846 Juneau's town combined with two neighboring towns to incorporate as the City of Milwaukee. Large numbers of German and other immigrants helped increase the city's population during the 1840s and the following decades.
Milwaukee residents are known as Milwaukeeans. Milwaukee is known as "The City of Festivals" for its great number of ethnic and musical festivals, the largest of which is Summerfest.

As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 64,825. It is the county seat of Waukesha CountyGR6. The city is located adjacent to the Town of Waukesha.
The name of the city means "fox" or "foxes," either from the Ojibwe word Waagoshag or the Potawatomi word Wauk-tsha.

Brookfield Wisconsin - Population: 38,649
The Elmbrook School District, available to all legal residents of Brookfield (excluding a small section of southwest Brookfield), is the chief provider of comprehensive schooling in the city. In addition, private schooling options are available through St. Dominic Catholic School, St. John Vianney Catholic School and Brookfield Academy. Though, public education is the overwhelming choice of Brookfield families. Various alternative schooling options for Brookfield residents include homeschooling, Catholic Memorial High School, Divine Savior Holy Angels High School both Milwaukee Lutheran & Wisconsin Lutheran High Schools, Pius XI High School, Marquette University High School and Milwaukee Public Schools' school choice program.
The district includes the entirety of Elm Grove, as well as portions of New Berlin and Butler.
A small portion of the southwest part of the city is located in the Waukesha School District.

Oconomowoc Wisconsin - Population: 12,382
Oconomowoc is a city in Waukesha County, Wisconsin, United States. Oconomowoc was derived from Coo-no-mo-wauk. This was the Pottawatomie term for distinguishing a waterfall in the vicinity. The population was 12,382 at the 2000 census. The city is located partially within the Oconomowoc township. There is also the nearby Village of Oconomowoc Lake and Town of Oconomowoc.
The pioneering and developing of Oconomowoc began in 1837 when the first white man, Charles Sheldon, came to this area to build his log cabin. He found that the Potowatomi Indians had already laid the foundation of what they called Coo-No-Mo-Wauk (where the waters meet, or river of lakes), which in time would become Oconomowoc, pronounced [o'k?n?m??w?k].

Hartland Wisconsin - Population: 7,905
There were 3,002 households out of which 41.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.4% were married couples living together, 11.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 28.0% were non-families. 22.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 7.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.63 and the average family size was 3.13.
In the village the population was spread out with 29.7% under the age of 18, 7.8% from 18 to 24, 33.5% from 25 to 44, 21.5% from 45 to 64, and 7.5% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 34 years. For every 100 females there were 93.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 92.7 males.

Delafield Wisconsin - Population: 6,472
Delafield is a city in Waukesha County, Wisconsin, along the Bark River. The population was 6,472 at the 2000 census.
St. John's Northwestern Military Academy, a private Episcopal military school, is in Delafield. The community also hosts St. Joan of Arc Church and School (a Catholic institution) and University Lake School, a private K-12 academy. Nashotah Seminary is located in the City of Delafield. This Episcopalian seminary was established in 1842, just prior to Wisconsin becoming a state in the union. During the 1840s, Hawks Inn, a stagecoach stop between Milwaukee and Madison, hosted weary travelers as they travelled across the prairies of southern Wisconsin. The building is open for tours Saturday mornings during the summer months and by special appointment.
