Fairborn is a city in Greene County, Ohio, near Dayton and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. The population was 32,052 at the 2000 census. It is the only city in the world with the name of Fairborn, a merger of the names Fairfield and Osborn, the two villages from which it was created. Fairborn is the unofficial home of Wright State University which uses a Dayton, Ohio mailing address but is located within the borders of Fairborn. Fairborn is served by a branch of the Greene County Public Library.

Dayton is a city in southwestern Ohio, United States with a population of 166,179 (2000). It is the county seat and largest city of Montgomery County. The Greater Dayton area or Dayton metropolitan area encompasses a number of contiguous communities outside Dayton city proper, including Vandalia, Trotwood, Kettering, Centerville, Beavercreek, West Carrollton, Huber Heights, Troy, and Miamisburg, with a population of 848,153 (2000). Dayton is situated within the Miami Valley region of Ohio, just north of the Cincinnati metropolitan area. Daytons major metropolitan city neighbors are Toledo,Ohio & Detroit, Mi to the north, Columbus, Ohio to the east, Indianapolis, In to the west and Cincinnati to the south, all less than 3 hours drive.

Huber Heights Ohio - Population: 38,212
Huber Heights is a city in Miami and Montgomery counties in Ohio. Begun in 1956, Huber Heights is a collection of housing developments often called "America's largest community of brick homes." The city is named for Charles Huber, the developer that constructed a number of the homes that would later compose the city. Incorporated as a city from Wayne Township in 1981, Huber Heights is Dayton, Ohio's second largest suburb. The current mayor is Jack Hensley.

Xenia Ohio - Population: 24,164
Xenia, Ohio, is a city of aprox 24,000 centrally located in the "transportation triangle" formed by three major interstate highways I-70, I-71, and I-75. These north-south, east-west arteries are within minutes of Xenia via U.S. 35, U.S. 42, and U.S. 68, tying the community to one of the nation's largest 90-minute highway markets. Before the creation of the U.S. Interstate Highway system, U.S. 68 was the main southward route from Detroit, Michigan; within Xenia, U.S. 68 is named "South Detroit Street."
It is the county seat of Greene County, named for Nathaniel Greene, the revolutionary hero who led Cornwallis into the trap at Yorktown.
Xenia was founded in 1803 - the year Ohio was admitted into the Union. In that year, Pioneer John Paul bought 2,000 acres (8 km²) of land from Thomas and Elizabeth Richardson of Hanover County, Virginia, for "1050 pounds current moneys of Virginia."

Vandalia Ohio - Population: 14,603
Vandalia is 10 miles north of Dayton on Dixie Drive (U.S. Highway 25). It is between the Great Miami River and the Stillwater River. The city has been called the "Crossroads of America" due to its location on the National Road and the Dixie Highway. These correspond to U.S. Highway 40 and the now decommissioned U.S. Highway 25.
Currently, Interstate 70 and Interstate 75 are Vandalia's most important highways. The cloverleaf interchange is currently undergoing reconstruction until 2008. Three of the four left turns are being reconstructed as ramps or tunnels in place of right 270° turns.
Vandalia is located at 39°52'47?N, 84°11'37?W (39.879856, -84.193599)GR1.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 30.8 km² (11.9 mi²). 30.6 km² (11.8 mi²) of it is land and 0.2 km² (0.1 mi²) of it (0.59%) is water.

Springboro Ohio - Population: 12,380
Settled as early as 1796, Springboro was "founded" in 1815 by Jonathan Wright. Springboro was predominantly Quaker during its earlier years.
Springboro is known largely for its historical significance during the hiding of slaves through the system of the Underground Railroad due to a large portion of its residents holding an Anti-Slavery opinion. Achilles Pugh, in fact, published a local paper during this time called "the Philanthropist" to enrich the belief of abolishing slavery.
The City of Springboro is the first city to erect an Ohio Underground Railroad Historic Marker on October 17, 1999. The dedication was part of the 4th Annual Ohio Underground Railroad Summit.
