Johnson City is a village in Broome County, New York, United States. The population was 15,535 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Binghamton Metropolitan Statistical Area. The Village of Johnson City was established in the Town of Union, New York and is a part of the "Triple Cities" along with Endicott, New York and Binghamton, New York. Johnson City lies to the west of Binghamton at the eastern side of the Town of Union. Johnson City is on the north side of the Susquehanna River. The junction of New York State Route 17 and New York State Route 201, which connects the community to the south side of the Susquehanna River, is in Johnson City. New York State Route 17C parallels NY-17. Davis College was founded in 1900 under the leadership of John Adelbert Davis. The present site was bought in 1910 and moved to Riverside Drive in 1911. The college is very small. Dorms are located on Riale Ave and on Riverside Drive. It is in an EJ house neighborhood.

Binghamton is a city located in the southern tier of upstate New York in the United States. It is the county seat of Broome County. The population of the City of Binghamton, according to the 2000 Census, is 47,380 (1990 Census: 53,008).
The City of Binghamton is nestled in the Southern Tier of New York, at the confluence of the Susquehanna and Chenango Rivers. The city is at the crossroads of Interstates 81 and 88, as well as the future Interstate 86 (also known as New York State Highway 17, The Southern Tier Expressway).

Endwell New York - Population: 11,706
Endwell is a hamlet (and census-designated place) located in the Town of Union in Broome County, New York, USA. Its population was 11,706 at the 2000 census.
Endwell is adjacent to the Village of Endicott and the Village of Johnson City. It is west of Binghamton and is considered a suburb of that city.
Endwell is the home of a popular local park, Highland Park, well known in the area for its annual Fourth of July fireworks display as well as its classic carousel. Endwell is also home to two well known local golf courses, Endwell Greens and the Binghamton Country Club.
Residents of Endwell, along with those of the adjacent Town of Maine attend the Maine-Endwell school district.

Whitney Point New York - Population: 965
Whitney Point is a village in Broome County, New York, United States. The population was 965 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Binghamton Metropolitan Statistical Area. The name comes from Thomas and William Whitney, early developers. The Village of Whitney Point is in the southwest corner of the Town of Triangle and is north of Binghamton. The village was first settled around 1791, but began to flourish after the arrival of the Whitney family around 1800. The Village of Whitney Point (originally called "Whitney's Point') was incorporated in 1871. A catasrophic fire almost destroyed the village in 1897. After serious flooding in 1935 and 1936, work began on a dam north of the village on the Otselic River. It was completed in 1942 and formed the Whitney Point Lake (Reservoir).

Vestal is a town within Broome County in the Southern Tier of New York, and lies between the Susquehanna River and the Pennsylvania border. As of the 2000 census, the population was 26,535, estimated to have grown to 27,423 by 2005.
The Town of Vestal is on the south border of the county and is south and southwest of Binghamton.
Vestal is home to Binghamton University, the top-ranked public university in New York. In addition to the academics, the university draws visitors to the town through its entertainment and sporting events. The university has greatly increased the town's population and is generally thought to be a boon to the economy.
