Centerville is a village in the town of Barnstable, Massachusetts on Cape Cod. Located on the south side of Barnstable, Centerville is primarily residential, includes a small business district, notable beaches, and a school (Centerville Elementary). The Barnstable Bat Company is located in Centerville. Centerville contains the neighborhood of Craigville, which includes Craigville beach. Centerville village also is the home to the ECAC offices. (Eastern College Athletic Conference. Centerville was originally named Chequaquet (meaning pleasant harbor). Centerville is the location of the award-winning, independent Four Seas Ice Cream shop which is located on South Main Street near the intersection with Old Stage Road. Located on Pine Street is the St. Francis Xavier cemetery, which is the final resting place for Eunice Kennedy Shriver. The American composer Amy Beach frequently summered in Centerville during the 1920's and 1930's.
Barnstable Massachusetts - Population: 47,821
Barnstable High School teams are known as the Red Raiders, a name they share with, most notably, Texas Tech University. Red Raider teams have fared very well in recent years, with the most successful team being the girls' tennis program. In the 2006 spring tennis season, the entire team went undefeated in the regular season and team captain Lauren Donnelly (her 2nd consecutive championship) and her partner Kourtney Kelly won the South Sectional doubles championship, also earning recognition as Boston Globe All-Scholastic Team winners. Under Donnelly's leadership, the Red Raiders are currently in the hunt for the team South Sectional championship.

Dennis Massachusetts - Population: 2,798

Hyannis is a village in the town of Barnstable, Massachusetts, on Cape Cod. The village was named after Iyannough (also spelled Iyanough), the local Indian sachem (chief).
The Hyannis Mets of the Cape Cod Baseball League play at McKeon Park from mid-June to early August.
