Peachtree City is known for its system of golf cart paths, which are strewn across the town and provides secondary means of access to almost any destination within city limits. Many households own a golf cart, and they are used as an extra vehicle for local transportation. Children as young as twelve may operate a cart on Peachtree City cart paths with a parent, grandparent or guardian in the front seat. Unaccompanied fifteen-year-olds with valid Georgia Learner's Permits are allowed to operate golf carts. Students at local McIntosh High School are even encouraged to drive their golf carts to school due to limited parking. The golf cart paths are also used by bikers, joggers, and pedestrians as a safer alternative to the side of the road. Peachtree City is home to a small airport, Falcon Field, which hosts a medium-sized airshow every year.

Newnan Georgia - Population: 16,242
Newnan was first established as county seat of Coweta County (replacing the currently nonexistant town of Bullsboro) in 1828 and was named for North Carolinian General Daniel Newnan. Newnan quickly became a prosperous magnet for professionals such as lawyers and doctors, as well as various merchants. Much of Newnan's prosperity was due to the thriving cotton industry, which relied on slavery. Newnan was largely untouched by the American Civil War, and as a result is still home to much antebellum architecture. During the Atlanta Campaign, Confederate cavalry badly defeated Union forces at the nearby Battle of Brown's Mill.
Newnan was where the infamous lynching, mutilation, burning, and dismemberment of Sam Hose took place in 1899. Newnan was also host to the trial in 1948 of wealthy landowner John Wallace, the first white man in the south to be condemned to death by the testimony of African Americans, two field hands who had witnessed the murder (the victim was a white sharecropper)

Jonesboro Georgia - Population: 3,829
Jonesboro is a city in Clayton County, Georgia, United States. The city's name was originally spelled Jonesborough, and during the American Civil War the final skirmish in the Atlanta Campaign was fought here south of Atlanta, cutting off the city and forcing the mayor of Atlanta to surrender at Marietta in early September of 1864. The final fall of Atlanta in the Battle of Jonesborough ended up being a decisive point in the nation's history, propelling Abraham Lincoln to re-election two months later, and continuing the war until the Confederacy finally surrendered the following year.The city limits is a small area and includes only a fraction of households with "Jonesboro" addresses. Jonesboro is part of the greater Metropolitan Atlanta area. As a result, although some residual elements of small town life are still to be found, since the early 1960's its position as an Atlanta suburb is the primary factor driving economic and demographic changes.
