Boynton Beach Florida - Population: 60,389
It was 1894, two years before Henry Flagler built his railroad, that a former American Civil War major named Nathan S. Boynton first set eyes on the area that now bears his name. He was so impressed by the natural beauty of what he saw, the year-round sunshine and pristine beaches, that he built the famous Boynton Beach Hotel to serve as his family's summer residence.
The first settlers soon realized that an unlimited assortment of fruits and vegetables thrived in the fertile climate. Cultivated pineapples, tomatoes, mangos, oranges, lemons, grapefruits and limes were packed in crates and shipped by the ton on the newly built Florida East Coast Railroad to satisfy the appetites of hungry Americans across the country.
Hurricane Wilma struck Boynton Beach on Monday, October 24, 2005 causing widespread damage to homes and businesses.

Jupiter Florida - Population: 39,328
Jupiter is a town located in Palm Beach County, Florida. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 39,328. As of 2004, the population recorded by the U.S. Census Bureau is 46,752.[1]
The area where the town now sits was originally named for the Hobe indian tribe which lived at the mouth of the Loxahatchee River. A mapmaker misunderstood the Indian name 'Hobe' and recorded it as 'Jove'. Subsequent mapmakers further misunderstood this to be the Latin translation of the god Jupiter, and they anglicized the name from Jove to 'Jupiter.' The Roman god Jupiter (or Zeus in the Greek mythology) is the chief Roman god, husband of Juno, and god of light, of the sky and weather, and of the state and its welfare and its laws. It is the only town in America to have such a name. It inspired a neighboring village to name itself "Juno Beach".

Wellington Florida - Population: 38,216
The Village of Wellington is primarily a bedroom community with few major centers for entertainment and cultural events directly within its borders. However, its location in Palm Beach County puts it within easy driving distance to many concert venues, public amphitheatres, playhouses and sporting arenas. Wellington, and more specifically, The Palm Beach Polo & Country Club[1], is world-famous for equestrian activities such as polo. Wellington also hosts the famous Top Gun model aircraft show.
There is a strong distinction between the equestrian community in Wellington and the general population. The equestrians often seek to limit new growth and reduce the influx of economic development which has been occurring since 2000. The equestrian minority has the majority of the wealth in the community and has been accused of tying up new developments in lengthy legal battles and forcing unreasonable conditions to be attached to them, such as the Lake Worth Extension.

Lake Worth Florida - Population: 35,133
Lake Worth is located at 26°37'11?N, 80°3'31?WGR1, approximately seven miles south of West Palm Beach and 60 miles north of downtown Miami.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 16.7 km² (6.5 mi²). 14.6 km² (5.6 mi²) of it is land and 2.1 km² (0.8 mi²) of it (12.69%) is water.
The USDA has mapped most of Lake Worth in the Southern Florida Flatwoods land resource area.[2] Deep, poorly drained acidic sandy soils are typical for the area; they have gray topsoil, white subsoil, and a dark hardpan. Much of Lake Worth is built on a rapidly drained white or gray sand which is too dry and infertile to support vigorous plant growth. The western outskirts of Lake Worth are in the Southern Florida Lowlands area. Topsoils there are sandy, but the subsoils have a much higher content of clay and the soils are relatively fertile. As in the flatwoods, these soils are poorly drained for many purposes unless drainage systems are installed.

Palm Beach Gardens Florida - Population: 35,058
Prior to development, the land that became Palm Beach Gardens was primarily cattle ranch land and pine forests, as well as swampland further west. In 1959, wealthy landowner and insurance magnate John D. MacArthur announced plans to develop 4,000 acres (16 km²) and build homes for 55,000 people. He chose the name Palm Beach Gardens after his initial choice of Palm Beach City was denied, after an objection to the state legislature by the nearby City of Palm Beach, which objected because the name was too similar to its own. He had a plan for a "garden city" so he altered the name slightly.
The "city" was incorporated as a completely "paper town" in 1959, meaning that it existed only on paper. In the 1960 U.S. Census the city officially had a population of 1, apparently a squatter whom MacArthur had allowed to stay on his property.

Riviera Beach Florida - Population: 29,884
Riviera Beach is a city in Palm Beach County, Florida, U.S.A. which was incorporated September 29, 1922. The population was 29,884 at the 2000 census. As of 2004, the population was estimated by the U.S. Census Bureau to be 32,522.[1] Riviera Beach is predominantly an African American city and it is on the List of U.S. cities with African American majority populations. It is home to the Port of Palm Beach and a United States Coast Guard station, and has its own marina. The city consistently has crime rates well in excess of the United States average and is also notable for its high levels of poverty.[2] [3] The city has been increasingly targeted for redevelopment aiming to take advantage of the city's desirable location along the Lake Worth Lagoon; to this end, a massive taking through eminent domain has been proposed.

North Palm Beach Florida - Population: 12,064
North Palm Beach was mangrove swamps and farm and ranch land until development occurred in the mid 1950s. The area to become North Palm Beach was punctuated only by Monet Road and Johnson Dairy Road to the east-west US 1 and Prosperity Farms Road to the north-south. Full scale development and incorporation as a village occurred nearly simultaneously in 1956, with extensive dredging creating waterfront cul-de-sacs, and the development of a new east-west artery, Lighthouse Drive connecting Old Dixie Highway and the newly aligned US - 1. US - 1 was widened and became the main office and civic corridor. Lake Park West Road was also extended from Old Dixie Highway to US 1 and was renamed Northlake Boulevard, becoming the village's main commercial corridor. Twin City Mall, an enclosed shopping center, opened in 1970 at the corner of Northlake Boulevard and US - 1 as Palm Beach County's second enclosed shopping mall.

Palm Beach Florida - Population: 10,468
Palm Beach is a city (collectively classified as a town) located in Palm Beach County, Florida, 65 miles north of Miami. The Intracoastal Waterway separates it from the neighboring cities of West Palm Beach and Lake Worth. Palm Beach was established as a resort by Henry Flagler, a founder of Standard Oil, who made the Atlantic coast barrier island accessible via his Florida East Coast Railway. The nucleus of Palm Beach was established by Flagler's two luxury resort hotels, the Royal Poinciana Hotel and The Breakers Hotel. West Palm Beach was built across Lake Worth as a service town, and has become a major city in its own right.

Lantana Florida - Population: 9,437
The first settlers came to the area after Congress passed the Armed Occupation Act of 1842 at the end of the Seminole Wars during the Administration of President John Tyler. The M.B. Lyman family is credited with founding the Town. Lyman arrived with his family in 1888 and within a year started several enterprises including a general store, Indian Trading Post and a post office. As postmaster, Lyman named the post office – Lantana Point – for the wild Lantana plant that grew in abundance in the area. The word Point was later dropped.
One of the other Lyman businesses was the Lantana Fish Company. In the early 1900s the gathering and marketing of oysters became the Town's leading industry. The Town of Lantana was incorporated in 1921 with 22 residents voting in the first election. At the time of incorporation, the area of Lantana was one square mile with a population of 100 residents.
