Pinellas Park is known throughout the Tampa Bay area for a series of community events held annually every year in a city-owned bandshell located behind City hall. The most popular of these events is "Country in the Park," a festival held every year generally on the 3rd Saturday of March, but always after the Florida State Fair and Florida Strawberry Festival. The festival's popularity stems from its wide array of events, such as arts and crafts shows, NASCAR displays, popular amusement park rides, and multi-artist day-long concert, and the fact that parking, entry to the festival, and attendance of the concert are all free of charge. As of 2006, the Country in the Park festival has been organized for 16 years straight. Another popular celebration among the locals is Pride in the Park. This celebration occurs during the week leading up to Country in the Park. Usually the night before Country In The Park, the Firefighters chili cookoff takes place at the bandshell.

Clearwater Florida - Population: 108,787
The area's population grew in 1842, after the Federal Armed Occupation Act of 1842 offered 160 acres to anyone who would bear arms and cultivate the land. Early settlers included the Stevens, Stevenson and McMullen families, who claimed and farmed large tracts of land. Prior to 1906, the area was known as Clear Water Harbor. The name "Clear Water" is thought to have come from a fresh water spring flowing from near where the City Hall building is located today. There were many other freshwater springs that dotted the bayfront, many in the bay itself, which were the reason for the crystal clear water found there.
Originally part of Hillsborough County, the first road joining Clearwater and Tampa was built in 1849, which dramatically reduced the prior day-long commute between the cities. The first US Post Office for Pinellas County was built on the site of the present Turner Steet Dock Park, circa 1859.

Dunedin Florida - Population: 35,691
Dunedin (IPA pronunciation: [d?n'i.d?n]) is a city in Pinellas County, Florida, United States. The name comes from the Scots Gaelic Dùn Èideann meaning Edinburgh. The population was 35,691 at the 2000 census. As of 2004, the population recorded by the U.S. Census Bureau is 36,632.[1]. Dunedin is home to several beautiful beaches, including Dunedin Causeway, Honeymoon Island, and Caladesi Island State Park, which is consistently rated among the best beaches in the world. Dunedin is one of the few open waterfront communities from Sarasota to Cedar Key where buildings do not obscure the view.
The quaint, but thriving downtown business district has become a model for many other west-central Florida cities. It is striking in comparison to neighbouring Florida communities for its absence of commercial signage and corporate franchise restaurants and retail stores.
