Bethel is a town in Fairfield County, Connecticut, USA, about sixty miles from New York City. The town is easily accessible from Interstate 84 and has a train station on the Danbury Branch of Metro-North's New Haven line. As of the census2 of 2000, there were 18,067 people, 6,505 households, and 4,846 families residing in the town. The population density was 415.5/km² (1,075.7/mi²). There were 6,653 housing units at an average density of 153.0/km² (396.1/mi²). The racial makeup of the town in 2005 was 85.86% White, 1.91% African American, 0.26% Native American, 4.58% Asian, 0.04% Pacific Islander, 3.20% from other races or of multiple races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 4.33% of the population.

Danbury Connecticut - Population: 74,848
Danbury is a city in Fairfield County, Connecticut, United States.
The 2000 census declared the population to be 74,848, but a July 1, 2004, update put it at 78,263. In 2005, Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton said the city actually numbers around near 90,000, due to recent immigration from Ecuador [2] and Brazil. Unofficial estimate is that there are 5,000 Ecuadorians (mostly from the Andes province of Azuay) and 15,000 Brazilians (mostly from the eastern province of Minas Gerais).
Danbury is one of the fastest-growing cities in Connecticut, possibly because the cost of living is relatively low compared to other regions within rail-commuting distance of New York City (via Metro North).

Brookfield Connecticut - Population: 16,413
Brookfield is a town located in northern Fairfield County, Connecticut, United States. The population was 15,664 at the 2000 census. First settled in 1754 with the establishment of the Newbury Parish, which incorporated parts of neighboring Newtown and Danbury, the town of Brookfield was established in 1788. It was named after the first minister of the parish's Congregational church, Reverend Thomas Brooks. Before the English settled the area, it was inhabited by the Pootatuck Indians, members of the Algonquin Federation.[1] In the 1700s the community was called "Newbury," a name that came from the three towns from which its land was taken -- New Milford, Newtown, and Danbury.

Redding Connecticut - Population: 8,840
Redding is a town in Fairfield County, Connecticut, United States. The population was 8,270 at the 2000 census. According to Fairfield county and state records from the time Redding was formed, the original name of the town was Reading. But in 1767, soon after incorporation, the name was changed to its current spelling of Redding. The resulting confusion lasted into the mid 1880s when the U.S. Post Office formalized the name. The first land grant was given to Cyprian Nichols in 1687 and 2 more followed soon after the turn of the century.
