Stockton is a city in California and the seat of San Joaquin County (the 5th largest agricultural county in the United States). According to 2005 estimates by the California Department of Finance, Stockton has a population of 289,800 and is the 13th largest city in California. Stockton is also the fourth largest inland city in California, behind Sacramento, Fresno, and Bakersfield. According to the California State Department of Finance January 6, 2006 estimate, 668,265 people live in the Stockton Metropolitan Statistical Area.Stockton was named after Commodore Robert F. Stockton and was founded in 1849 and incorporated on July 23, 1850. The area now known as Weber Point is the same spot where Captain Charles Maria Weber built the first permanent residence in the San Joaquin Valley after acquiring 49,000 acres through a Spanish land grant. Soon, he established this spot as a stop for 49ers on their way to the Sierra Nevada. It didn't take long for this stop to grow and flourish.

Lodi California - Population: 56,999
Lodi is best known as a center of wine production (the Zinfandel Capital of the world), although its vintages have traditionally been less prestigious than those of Sonoma and Napa counties. However, in recent years, the Lodi Appellation has become increasingly respected for its Zinfandel wine and other eclectic varietals. Nearby Woodbridge is the home of a famous Robert Mondavi winery, Mondavi Woodbridge.
Lodi is an increasingly popular exurb for commuters priced out of homeownership in the San Francisco Bay Area. The origin of the city's name is unclear. Historians have not agreed whether Lodi was named after a winning racehorse, a bridge in Italy (site of a great Napoleonic battle), or a town in Illinois. A & W Root Beer was first concocted in Lodi by druggist Roy Allen in 1919. The small yet popular Lodi Airport is home to the invention of skysurfing, as well as being the first test location of the Single Human Hover Platform.

Tracy California - Population: 56,929
Tracy is a city in San Joaquin County, California, in the United States. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 56,929, but a July 1, 2005 Census estimate showed the fast-growing city's population rose to 75,800.
Tracy is located east of the San Francisco Bay Area, around 30 miles west of Livermore, California and just past Altamont Pass. It is considered by some to be an exurb of San Jose and San Francisco, because many residents commute over the congested Interstate 580 to job centers in the Bay Area. Interstate 205 on the north side of the city connects I-580 to Interstate 5 and California State Route 120, which goes to Yosemite National Park. I-580 also connects to I-5 south of the city for a route many Bay Area travelers take to Southern California. Together, I-580, I-205, and I-5 form a triangle around much of the city. The city is also west of nearby Modesto.

Manteca California - Population: 49,258
Manteca, commonly referred to as "Teek City" or simply "The Teek", is a city in San Joaquin County, California, USA. As of November 2005, the city population was approximately 61,927 residents.
Manteca was well-known in Northern California as the location of The Manteca Waterslides. However, in September of 2004, this waterslide park was closed. Neighboring towns include Lathrop, Ripon, Escalon, and Tracy. Manteca is also in between the larger cities of Modesto and Stockton.
A recurring name in Manteca is "East Union". It was first given to a school established in what is now Manteca in 1857. The school was named East Union in order to differentiate it from Union School, A school in the area that is now Lathrop, California. A cemetery named East Union was started in 1872 and remains one of San Joaquin County's oldest landmarks.
